Studentin:

Mann, exactly. So, these are our new words and now we can go to the text.
[Studentin geht zurück Lehrertisch.]
Please open your books at page thirtyfour, thirtyfive.
So our text for today is called ‚Chaos at the Corner Shop‘.
And the text has many photos and pictures and we can see Maya, and we  can see Lucy and Sam and his little sister Lily. [Studentin zeigt auf Bilder im Buch.] So, soon … in a moment … we hear the text on the CD but, first of all, I want to show you some sentences.
Here are four sentences about the text. Who can read the sentences for us? Who wants to read them?
[Einige SuS melden sich.] Yes, Jana, please!

Jana:

Wir sollen den Text lesen –

Studentin:

Ja …

Jana:

Und dann die Sätze zuordnen …

Studentin:

That’s already the task, yes. But can you please read the sentences out loud for us? Yes, Lydia, please read them!

Lydia:

[Sie liest vor.] There is Chaos [deutsche Aussprache] at the corn … corn-er shop. [Studentin nickt.] Maya and Lucy see Sam and they talk. Maya ask Lucy about her new school. Sam’s sister finds [deutsche Aussprache] the yoghurt.

Studentin:

Yes! Thank you very much. And there is problem. These sentences are in the wrong order.
And now this is the task. Juliane already said it.
So, listen to the text on the CD and think about the correct order. Okay. Are there any questions? Then we can start.
